Some mothers have a particularly difficult challenge. Postpartum depression is more prevalent than we had thought. Sometimes if you are suffering from such illnesses, it is hard to get baby dressed, yourself ready and get out of the house to see a psychologist even if you are desperate to see one. Especially in winter, the thought may make you cringe. Or if baby or you have a cold, then you are even more indoors-bound. This can lead to isolation, which can make you feel even worse.
Bearing this in mind, I have created “pajama counselling“, where I make house visits and we do the assessment, diagnosis and treatment in your home in the beginning, until you feel better enough to come to the practice. You do not need to tidy up or even brush your hair!
This offer is for women only. A phone consultation beforehand will assess if you qualify for this service.
